According to Art. 4 no. 1 of the European General Data Protection Regulation ("EU-GDPR"), "processing" means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

DP Tech is furthermore obliged to inform all recipients to whom it discloses Personal Data of any corrections and deletions of or restrictions placed on processing Personal Data in accordance with Art. 16 to 18 EU-GDPR unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. In such case, Users have – upon their request – a right to be informed about these recipients.
Users have the right to object (Art. 21 EU-GDPR) to the Controller's future processing of their Personal Data pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR; in particular, an objection to data processing for the purpose of direct advertising is permissible.
Each time the Site is accessed, our systems automatically collect data and information of the computer system of the calling device.

This Personal Data is as well stored in the log files of our system. This Personal Data will not be stored together or combined with other Personal Data of the respective User.
The legal basis for the temporary storage of this data and the log files is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) EU-GDPR.
The temporary storage of the IP address by our systems is necessary to allow delivery of the Site to the User’s computer. The User's IP address must be kept for the duration of the session.
Log files are maintained to ensure the functionality of the Site. In addition, this Personal Data is used to optimize the Site and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of the Personal Data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context.
Those purposes concretize our legitimate interest in the processing of data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) EU-GDPR.
This Personal Data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose it had been collected for. In case of collecting the Personal Data for displaying the Site at the User’s computer system, the Personal Data is deleted when the respective session is completed.
In case the Personal Data has been stored in log files it will be deleted no later than after seven days. The Personal Data may as well be stored for an additional period; in such case, the Users’ IP addresses are deleted or alienated, so that an assignment of the calling client is no longer possible for DP Tech.
The collection of Personal Data for the provision of the Site and the storage of the Personal Data in log files is essential for the operation of the Site. There is consequently no right to object for the User.
The Personal Data processed by cookies are required for the purposes stated in order to safeguard our and third parties’ legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) EU-GDPR.
Our Site provides a contact form which can be used to contact DP Tech electronically. In case a User makes use of the contact form, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to and stored by us. The data comprises of:

In this context, there is no disclosure of such Personal Data to third parties. The Personal Data is used exclusively for processing the conversation with the User.
The data processing for the purpose of contacting DP Tech is - in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) EU-GDPR – based on the User’s consent.
The legal basis for the processing of the data transmitted in the course of sending an e-mail is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) EU-GDPR. In case e-mail contact aims at concluding a contract with DP Tech, additionally Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) EU-GDPR will be the legal basis for the data processing.
Processing of the Personal Data from the contact form exclusively serves to facilitate the contact. In case the User made contact via e-mail, facilitating the contact is as well the legitimate interest in processing of the relevant Personal Data.
Any additional Personal Data collected by DP Tech during the sending process serves to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of the Controller’s information technology systems.
The Personal Data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of its collection. Personal Data provided by the User via the input mask of the contact form and/or by e-mail will be deleted as soon as the respective conversation with the User has finally been ended. This is the case when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the relevant facts brought up by the User have finally been clarified by DP Tech.
Any additional Personal Data provided voluntarily by the User will be deleted at the latest after a period of seven days.
Users are entitled to revoke their consent to the processing of their Personal Data at any time. In case you have been contacting DP Tech by e-mail, you may object to the storage of your Personal Data at any time. In such case, the conversation cannot continue.
In case the User exercises his right to object or revokes his consent, all Personal Data stored in the course of contacting DP Tech will be deleted.
Whenever a User creates a customer account with DP Tech via ESPRIT Web (ew.dptechnology.com), DP Tech will use the Personal Data the User has entered during the registration (e.g. name, address, email address, etc.) solely for fulfilling a contractual obligation towards the User or his employer and to provide customer care (e.g. within or without an existing software maintenance contract concluded with DP Tech). DP Tech will also store the User’s IP address and the date and time of his registration. This Personal Data will not be transferred to third parties.
In case the User has given his consent to the processing of his Personal Data, Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) EU-GDPR is the legal basis for this processing. Furthermore, registration of the customer account may also be part of DP Tech’s obligations under an existing contract with the User or its employer, so that the legal basis for this processing may as well be Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) EU-GDPR.
Users are entitled to revoke their consent to the processing of their Personal Data at any time. Any Personal Data previously collected will then be deleted as soon as processing the affected Personal Data is no longer necessary. However, retention periods required under tax and commercial law may apply and might have to be observed by DP Tech.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence lit. a) EU-GDPR.
Users are entitled to revoke their consent to the processing of their Personal Data at any time; this can be done by informing DP Tech about the revocation of the consent directly or by clicking on the unsubscribe link contained in each newsletter.
The tracking measures listed below and used by DP Tech are based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) EU-GDPR. By using those tracking measures DP Tech wants to ensure the continuous optimization of the Site. Furthermore, the tracking measures are used to statistically record the use of the Site and evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing the services offered to the Users.
DP Tech uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.com/intl/en/about/) (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) ("Google") for the purpose of customizing and continually optimizing the Site. In this context, pseudonymized usage profiles are created and cookies are used. The information generated by the cookie regards the Users’ use of the Site comprises of

The Users’ IP addresses will under no circumstances be merged with any other Personal Data provided by Google. The IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment of the IP address to an individual User will not be possible (IP masking).
Users can avoid the installation of cookies by setting their web browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case not all features of the Site may be fully functional.
Users may as well avoid the collection of Personal Data generated by the cookie and related to the Users’ use of the Site (including the User’s IP address) and the processing of this Personal Data by Google by downloading and installing a web browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).

An opt-out cookie will be set that will prevent the future collection of Personal Data when the Site is revisited. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this web browser and only for the Site and is stored on the User’s device. If cookies in this web browser are deleted, the opt-out cookie must be set again.
